Supporting Australia’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic is Workforce Australia Local Jobs.  The Hunter is included in 51 regions throughout Australia where Workforce Australia Local Jobs has been extended to run to 30 June 2025. A local Taskforce will bring together expertise, resources and access to funding at the local level to focus on reskilling, upskilling and employment pathways for people in the Hunter region.  The Hunter Local Jobs Plan sets out the training and employment challenges and priorities of the region, and associated strategies that will drive the design and implementation of projects to address these challenges.
